To Request Books

  1. Use ILL to request books & articles unavailable via from other CUNY or SUNY Libraries.
  2. If WorldCat indicates CUNY copies, request through the CUNY Libraries Catalog (CLICS).
  3. If WorldCat indicates CUNY copies, request through the CUNY Libraries Catalog (CLICS).
  4. Use FIND IT symbol from WorldCat to request any non-CUNY book with auto-fill form via ILL.
  5. If all CUNY book copies are checked out, on reserve, or unavailable, request via ILL with note.
  6. Include ISBN for fastest ILL delivery.
  7. ILL & WorldCat are available for off-campus research.

To Request Articles

  1. From any database use FIND IT log for online, print, and ILL options.
  2. Only request articles via ILL if the journal is unavailable at the Lehman College.
  3. If a Lehman College journal is missing, request it via ILL with note.
  4. Request book chapters or sections via ILL.
  5. Articles and book chapters are delivered in PDF format.
